The S3 Plus Tandem from GEM Gravure is a high-performance, dual head marking system designed specifically for wire, cable, and tubing. It applies sharp, permanent bands, logos, or identification codes at blazing speeds—all without interrupting your production line.

To meet the needs of every production environment, we also offer both a higher-speed X version and a lower-speed version of this system—so you get exactly the performance level your operation requires.

  • Electronically motor-driven printing wheel is fully synchronized to the extruder line speed, ensuring clean, consistent mark placement even at the highest speeds.

  • Handles wire diameters from 0.040" to 0.430"/mm

  • Adjustable to fit line heights from 37" to 47”.

  • Operate efficiently from 500 FPM up to 3,500 FPM/meters per min.

  • Requires only 60 PSI air pressure for operation.

Engineered Ink for High-Speed Marking

GEM’s high-speed marking ink is specially formulated for extrusion environments. It dries quickly, adheres strongly, and offers vibrant, high-contrast color to ensure every mark is crisp and permanent.

  • Finely milled and filtered to protect print wheels and pumps.

  • Designed to resist wear and maintain clarity on hot, fast-moving cables.

  • Compatible with GEM Ink Extender to reduce friction and maintain consistent viscosity during long runs.

  • Available in all standard and custom colors.
